Gender and Medieval Jewish Piety

A breakfast discussion by Elisheva Baumgarten (Hebrew University of Jerusalem), author of Practicing Piety in Medieval Ashkenaz: Men, Women and Everyday Religious Observance (2014) and Mothers and Children: Jewish Family Life in Medieval Europe (2004). The event is being hosted by the Gender and Religion Faculty Seminar, and co-sponsored by Jewish Studies, Women’s Studies, the Theology Department, and the Center for Medieval Studies.
